Just got this message.
We’re happy to announce the release of macOS-native MOE 2024.0604 for macOS Tahoe, also compatible with Big Sur and later versions (minimum version 11.5). The version provided below no longer requires XQuartz and runs in the native macOS UI on Apple Silicon and Intel chips.
I’ve been running the beta version for a couple of weeks and I’ve not found any issues. This means that you no longer require XQuartz for graphics.
