Net Applications market share

The latest monthly data is in from Net applications and the rise of mobile platform continues, with Windows dropping another 0.22% with iOS (2.38%) and JavaME (1.15%) being the main beneficiaries. Android is now at 0.76% and could soon overtake Linux (0.9%). The total mobile browsing share could break 5% next month.
It is interesting to note that Net Applications have pulled out the numbers for the tablet market share, whilst the iPad share is steadily increasing to 0.92% the other tablets have much, much lower share.

The Internet Explorer browser share is now down to just over 54% with Firefox (21.7%), Chrome (12.5%) and Safari (7.28%) posting significant gains.
It is interesting to note that Net Applications have pulled out the numbers for the tablet market share, whilst the iPad share is steadily increasing to 0.92% the other tablets have much, much lower share.
